How to Care for Your Snus Can Properly
Rinse your aluminium snus can regularly with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, dry it off, and occasionally care for the O-ring seal with a drop of cooking oil. The anodized surface is scratch-resistant and easy to care for - but avoid the dishwasher.

Can the Can Go in the Dishwasher?
The short answer: Better not.
The aggressive salts and cleaners in dishwashers can attack the anodized colour layer. The aluminium could become dull or the colour could fade. The laser engraving itself would survive, but the colour around it suffers.

Perfect Cleaning in 3 Steps
- Empty & Disassemble: Remove all pouches, carefully take off the O-ring
- Water & Washing-Up Liquid: Rinse under warm water with mild washing-up liquid
- Dry: Dry with a soft cloth. Done.
Caring for the Seal
The rubber ring ensures your can stays watertight. If it feels dry, you can very occasionally apply a tiny drop of cooking oil. This keeps it supple and seals perfectly.
Avoiding Scratches
The anodized aluminium is very hard. Nevertheless, together with sharp-edged keys, "battle scars" can develop over time. Many find this gives the can character - if you want it pristine, use a separate pocket.
